The outer rind on can be mouldy, damp with slight ammonia notes, however this is very normal for blue cheese and by opening the packaging and letting the cheese “breathe” this odour should dissipate or reduce.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe rind can have brownish\/grey\/blue colours and can be consumed.
